ロバート・タイラ・ウィルソン。英国出身。彼の書く曲は、フォークに、モダンでオルタナティブなエッセンスが融合しています。近年数年は東京を拠点とし、ソロでのレコーディングが行われた楽曲と、数々のアーティストとコラボレーションした楽曲、両方のスタイルの曲をリリースしています。

The Robert Taira Wilson「Band」 is an international group of musicians based in Tokyo Japan. Formed in 2024, their music is inspired by acts like REM, Jeff Buckley and King Crimson. This has cultivated a sound which incorporates folk, alternative-pop and hard rock. As a result their songs transition from calm and intricate sections into a maelstroms of energy and chaos. Lyrics are intimate and introspective, weaving together personal tenets of love, loss, and the complexities of life.

Robert is also a visual artist creating videos, drawings, costumes and animations. Art has become an essential part of his creative practice, complimenting his music making and further communicating his world view holding a deeper meaning of escaping the traps of the mind and finding the courage to live a liberated life.
